The useful difference
The base units share a 15 × 14 × 26-inch cabinet, excluding feet and collars. E100 has higher documented capacity at both 80°F and 73°F / 60% RH; that alone does not establish your moisture load or the required HVAC layout.

Fit is not the differentiator
Both base product pages list a 15 × 14 × 26-inch cabinet. Plan the manual’s clearance and duct layout separately; those are not included in cabinet dimensions.
Ask what the extra capacity solves
At 80°F / 60% RH the current R32 sheets list 80 pints/day for E080 and 100 for E100. At 73°F / 60% RH they list 65 and 85 respectively. Ask what moisture-load assessment supports the extra capacity and compare the complete installed cost. Manufacturer ratings are not our independent test results.
Check service access and the exact variant
The combined E080/E100 manual requires 15 inches for filter access on either side. Plug, hardwired and caster variants or bundles are not interchangeable. Duct airflow changes with static pressure; have the installer verify the full layout rather than ordering by capacity alone.
